North Wales Crusaders chief executive Andy Moulsdale would like to thank supporters both old and new for their tremendous support following the club’s move to Colwyn Bay.
Supporters were set to return for this weekend’s League 1 clash with Doncaster at Stadiwm ZipWorld, but it will now be played behind-closed-doors on the back of advice from the Welsh government and local authorities because of an increase in cases of the Delta COVID-19 variant in the local area.
Moulsdale said: “We’re very grateful to both new and existing fans for your continued support.
“Within a couple of hours of tickets going on sale for the Doncaster game, we’d nearly sold out the entire allocation.
“We share our fans’ frustrations whole heartedly and hope that we can find a resolution to this in time for our next home game. We’ll be doing everything in our power to try and make this happen.
“Stay with us during these challenging times as both the club and the lads need your support. The last 12 months have been tough enough as it is, but I know we’ll stick together, like we have always done at this club, through good and bad times.
“We can’t wait to see you at Stadiwm ZipWorld soon because your fantastic support really does make all the difference for us.”
