Both Wales’ U16s and U17s sides will take on England Lions as part of a double header at Stadiwm ZipWorld in Colwyn Bay on Sunday, August 22.

With North Wales Crusaders travelling to Workington Town in League 1 on the same day, Stadiwm ZipWorld is available and will host another feast of rugby league.

The U16s will get the action underway at 2pm, before the U17s take to the field at 4pm.

This will be the first match for the U17s, while the U16s were last in action back in 2019 as they took on England Youth at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli.

Crusaders chief executive Andy Moulsdale said: “It’s fantastic to have both Wales’ U16s and U17s sides hold their internationals in Colwyn Bay.

“We’ve had a fantastic response since we brought Crusaders to the area and our crowds have grown since fans have been allowed to attend.

“Local people have really taken to rugby league and it’d be fantastic to see anyone not travelling to Workington cheering on the two Welsh sides.

“Stadiwm ZipWorld is an excellent venue and I’m sure both squads will really enjoy playing their internationals on the North Wales coast.”

Tickets for the double header are being sold through Crusaders’ website for just £10 for adults and £5 for U16s. You can also pay on the gate.
