North Wales Crusaders will travel to face Swinton Lions before welcoming Coventry Bears to Wrexham as part of Anthony Murray’s sides pre-season plans.

Crusaders will kick-off their pre-season friendlies with a trip to Heywood Road to take on Swinton Lions who secured their Betfred Championship status last season with a 33-20 victory over Workington Town in the relegation play-off.

The match will take place on Sunday 20th January kicking off at 3pm with ticket information for the clash to follow in the coming days.

Pre-season will conclude with the visit of fellow Betfred League One outfit Coventry Bears who will travel to the Queensway Stadium on Saturday 2nd February (1:30pm kick-off).

Commenting on the pre-season friendlies, North Wales Crusaders CEO Andy Moulsdale said: “With the squad back in pre-season training, we’re delighted to release our friendly fixtures.

“With one more friendly to be released in the coming days myself and Anthony Murray are more than satisfied with the pre-season schedule which we believe will give the squad fantastic preparation ahead of the 2019 Betfred League One season.

“There’s a great feeling around the club as we look to push on next season and I know that supporters and players a like can’t wait for the pre-season fixtures to come around.”
