North Wales Crusaders have signed forward Ethan O’Hanlon on loan from Championship club Bradford Bulls.
O’Hanlon came through the academy system at Bradford and has been pushing for a spot in the first-team in 2021 after featuring in the 1895 Cup defeat at Barrow Raiders last season.
The 20-year-old, playing under Wales head coach John Kear at the Bulls, was also called up to the Yorkshire Academy side in 2020.
On joining Crusaders, O’Hanlon said: “I’m over the moon and it’ll be good for me to get some game time.
“I want to be playing week in week out, give it my best shot and see how it goes from there.
“I haven’t played much since pre-season so I’m really excited and absolutely ready for it.
“You can expect me to be hard working as I just want to help the team out wherever I can.
“I’m a young player who’s raring to go as I want to go out there, show people what I can do and gain some experience.”
Crusaders boss Anthony Murray added: “Ethan is a highly-rated young player and we’re delighted to welcome him to the club.
“We have a number of injuries in our forward pack at the minute so it’s important we brought in more bodies in that area.
“We’re excited to see how Ethan develops as he gets more game time at this level.”
