North Wales Crusaders boss Anthony Murray has added strength and conditioning coach Adam Withy to his backroom staff for the 2021 campaign.
Withy joins Crusaders from Wigan Warriors’ women’s team and was previously involved with Championship club Leigh Centurions.
He will take over as strength and conditioning coach from winger Rob Massam, who has decided to step away from the role to focus purely on playing.
On linking up with North Wales ahead of the 2021 campaign, Withy said: “Muzza has been training with me and I’ve been killing him in the gym every week.
“He’s mentioned coming down to Crusaders previously to see what things are like at the club and then this opportunity has come up for me.
“Muzza knows my style and what I’m like so hopefully I’ll be a really good fit for the club.
“It looks like the lads are already in good shape, but I want to put my own stamp on things and make further improvements.
“I’ve got my own style and I’ll be working the lads hard. I’ve already got plenty of plans in place once we start approaching pre-season for 2021.”
