North Wales Crusaders have signed Jordan Gibson from amateur club Haydock ahead of the 2020 campaign.
Although halfback Gibson will step up to League 1 level for the first time with Crusaders, he has plenty of representative experience.
The 27-year-old has featured for Lancashire on a number of different occasions, touring Serbia earlier on in 2019.
On signing for North Wales, Gibson said: “It felt like the right time to join a semi-professional club.
“I know a few of the lads at the club already so it’ll be easy enough to fit in.
“I’m focusing on having a positive pre-season and getting my fitness up to scratch to where it needs to be.
“I’m going to set myself some personal goals and see where we get to.
“I’ve got good organisation and kicking game so I’m hoping I can help the team in that area.
“I know the lads weren’t far away from the play-offs last season so hopefully we can go one better in 2020.”
