As part of North Wales Crusaders’ Wrexham to Mount Kilimanjaro challenge, there is an opportunity to add to the miles in a COVID-secure environment at Queensway Stadium on Sunday, November 29.
From noon until 3pm, a maximum of 30 people will be able to use the track at Queensway Stadium in line with COVID-19 guidelines, helping raise money for Nightingale House.
From 12.30pm, some supporters will also be going on 5km and 10km runs from Queensway separate to the 30 people taking part inside the stadium.
Crusaders’ wheelchair team are helping organise the event and will have a number of places reserved for their players. Anybody else can get involved and places will be given on a first come, first served basis. Please note: only people with a Welsh residential address will be able to take part.
The wheelchair team will be providing hand sanitiser, wipes and other personal protective equipment to create a COVID-secure environment. No facilities will be available at Queensway Stadium other than the toilets under the main stand.
