North Wales Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray has named an 18-man squad for his side’s final pre-season outing at Whitehaven on Saturday (2pm kick-off).
It will be Murray’s last chance to take a look at his new-look squad in a match scenario before they begin their 2020 campaign.
Despite losing at both Barrow Raiders and Widnes Vikings, Crusaders have put in two very encouraging performances.
Karl Ashall (hernia) and Joe Ryan (peck) both miss the trip to Cumbria through injury, while Earl Hurst, Warren Thompson, Chris Barratt and Kieran Sherratt are all unavailable.
However, a number of North Wales’ off-season recruits will once again be in action and get further game time under their belts.
