Crusaders have signed North Walian winger Dafydd Jones for the 2021 season.

Jones has been training with Anthony Murray’s squad during pre-season as North Wales prepare for the start of League 1 campaign.

The 25-year-old has featured for Crusaders’ A team in the past, while he has gained experience in the academy systems at Salford Red Devils and Halifax Panthers over the last couple of years.

Jones has also picked up a number of honours in his career to date, earning caps for Wales at student level and representing North Wales Origin.

On his move to Crusaders, he said: “I’m over the moon and looking forward to the season ahead.

“I started playing rugby league with Crusaders A so it’s nice to be back here.

“I’m here to test myself, give it a go and see where it goes from there really.

“Working hard and getting my fitness back are my first priority.

“Muzza will hopefully see what I need to work on and then we’ll go from there.”
