North Wales Crusaders have signed Dante Morley-Samuels from fellow League 1 club Coventry Bears.
Morley-Samuels, who can play across the backline at fullback, centre or winger, was ever present for the Bears last season, scoring four tries in 21 appearances.
The 20-year-old, who is well-known for his hairstyle alongside his talent on the pitch, picked up the young player of the year award in his first year with Coventry, penning a new deal ahead of the 2019 season.
However, travelling to the Midlands has become an issue for the Wigan-based youngster and he has now joined Crusaders for the remainder of the campaign.
Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray said: “We’re pleased to bring in Dante as he’ll give us more options across the backline.
“He’s a young, promising player and had an excellent season with Coventry last year.
“I’m looking forward to seeing what he can offer us for the remainder of 2019.”
Morley-Samuels will come into contention for Crusaders’ Good Friday derby with West Wales Raiders.
