Tommy Johnson is the latest player to sign a new deal with North Wales Crusaders ahead of the 2020 campaign.
The fullback, who is currently second in Crusaders’ list of all-time appearances on 166, missed all of the 2019 season through injury, needing an operation on his knee.
But Johnson, with 1312 points and 542 goals to his name in a North Wales shirt to date, will be eyeing up a place back in side next term.
Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray said: “Tommy has been at the club since the start.
“He was waiting for an operation last season so that’s why he didn’t play a single game.
“Tommy is always reliable at fullback and has been a key part of the side for many years.
“It’ll be great to see a fit Tommy Johnson available again in 2020 and it could end up feeling like a brand new signing.
“We’re all really pleased to have Tommy staying around for another year at least.”
