James Tilley has extended his stay at North Wales Crusaders, signing a new deal ahead of the 2020 campaign.
The 25-year-old, who is a product of St Helens’ academy, joined Crusaders towards the end of the 2018 season and made three appearances.
Before linking up with North Wales, Tilley had gained plenty of experience in the semi-professional ranks, racking up 117 appearances with the likes of Rochdale Hornets and Whitehaven.
Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray said: “James is another good signing for us ahead of the new season.
“In the games he played for us at the end of 2018, you could see that he had plenty of quality.
“He’s played at a good level and could be a really important player for us in 2019.”
