North Wales Crusaders travel north to take on Newcastle Thunder in League 1 tomorrow.

Below is all the information you need to know ahead of the clash.

UP FRONT

Crusaders need a win to keep their play-off hopes alive and head into the match on the back of two consecutive wins.

After producing a much-improved second-half display to see off Coventry Bears at Queensway Stadium, North Wales came out on top in the Welsh derby as they beat West Wales Raiders 56-16.

Newcastle, meanwhile, will be aiming to keep the pressure on the sides in and around them in the top half of the table.

Thunder currently sit third in the table and have won eight out of the last nine.

In their previous outing, Newcastle turned on the style to beat Coventry 88-6.

LAST TIME OUT (CRUSADERS 12-48 NEWCASTLE – JUNE 2019)

Newcastle fullback Lewis Young was on fire as he scored a hat-trick to help his side ease to victory over Crusaders in Wrexham.

Although North Wales competed well with Thunder in the opening stages, the visitors managed to establish a 22-6 lead at half-time.

And they blew Crusaders away in the second-half, playing some delightful rugby league that Newcastle have continued to showcase since.
