North Wales Crusaders have agreed a new one-year deal with Ryan Millington.

The 33-year-old is currently in his third spell with Crusaders, having rejoined the club ahead of the 2020 campaign.

He appeared in the first couple of outings before the season was cut short, taking his total number of appearances for Crusaders to 34.

On his new deal, Millington said: “My aim is to always get in that 17 as I know Muzza rotates the positions I play in.

“As long as I’m playing, I’m happy and everyone knows I’ll always give 100 per cent.

“As soon as I spoke to Andy Moulsdale, it was all agreed straightaway and I can’t wait to build on what we started in 2020.

“We had a new team, but we started really well. It was only the final game against Hunslet when we were missing a few that we didn’t perform.

“The aim for us has got to be the play-offs now. We just need to pick up where we left off when pre-season starts.”

North Wales head coach Anthony Murray added: “I’m really pleased Milly has decided to stay with us for another year.

“He’s a really tough player in the middle and will always go above and beyond for the team.

“He gives us a lot of options in the forwards and has been in and around the game at this level for a long time now.”
