Five of North Wales Crusaders’ off-season recruits are included in Anthony Murray’s squad for tomorrow’s pre-season friendly at Hunslet.
Patrick Ah Van, Cam Brown, Alex Eckley, Callum Hazzard and Ben Morris have all joined Crusaders ahead of 2021, while Brad Calland and Will Lynch are currently on trial periods with the club and will feature at Hunslet.
Karl Ashall, who missed the start of the 2020 campaign through injury, will play his first match for the best part of 18 months, with well-known names like Brad Brennan, Dave Eccleston and Matt Reid also included in the squad.
Crusaders boss Anthony Murray is looking to give players decent game time during the pre-season schedule so those missing will come back into the frame next weekend at Rochdale Hornets.
