North Wales Crusaders have added another pre-season friendly to their schedule as Anthony Murray’s men travel to Hunslet on Sunday, April 18 (3pm kick-off).
After a pre-season clash with Rochdale Hornets was announced last weekend, Crusaders have now arranged a further fixture at Hunslet as they prepare for the start of the 2021 campaign.
It means it’ll now be 406 days, rather than 413, since North Wales last played a rugby league fixture, which happened to be against Hunslet back in March 2020.
Crusaders head coach Murray said: “This is another decent pre-season fixture for us as Hunslet are a strong side.
“Matches against both Hunslet and Rochdale will provide a good challenge for the lads ahead of the new season.
“Nothing can beat bringing the things you’ve worked on in training into a game scenario, particularly after so long away.”
This match will be played behind-closed-doors, with further details to follow in due course.
