THE FORMBOOK
North Wales have had two pre-season outings so far and faced Championship opponents on both occasions.
They began with a 26-0 defeat at Swinton Lions, before losing 48-6 to partner club Widnes Vikings.
Coventry, meanwhile, were defeated 20-16 by a young Leeds Rhinos side last time out.
THE LAST TIME THEY MET
Crusaders ran out 36-12 winners over Coventry at the Butts Park Arena back in September 2018.
The Welsh side established a healthy 16-0 lead at half-time through Earl Hurst, Karl Ashall and Kenny Baker tries, with Johnson kicking two goals.
Although Reece Rance pulled a try back for Coventry early in the second-half, North Wales went on to record a straightforward win as Baker, Aaron Moore, Gavin Conroy and Dale Bloomfield bagged further tries.
