North Wales Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray has named his 21-man squad for Saturday’s third round Challenge Cup tie at Rochdale Mayfield.

It will be the first time the two clubs have come up against each other, with Rochdale seeing off London Chargers and Great Britain Police to get to this stage of the competition.

Given the extensive recruitment Crusaders boss Murray has carried out in the off-season, he could hand as many as nine players their competitive debuts.

The only absentees are Karl Ashall (hernia), Matt Reid (hamstring) and Joe Ryan (peck) through injury.
