North Wales Crusaders are delighted to welcome Vicky Evans as the latest member of their board of directors.

Vicky began her career as a project manager for a financial services organisation, spending seven years managing legal, marketing and revenue projects.

From there, she worked in the voluntary sector for five years, managing community-based initiatives and grant-funded projects that support people across Denbighshire and Conwy.

Vicky is currently the strategic programmes and projects manager at ClywdAlyn Housing, overseeing all corporate projects and change programmes.

Outside work, Vicky enjoys all sport and plays netball. She currently lives in Holywell with her family.

On her appointment, Vicky said: “I’m delighted to be joining the board of North Wales Crusaders and look forward to contributing to the development of rugby league in North Wales.”

Crusaders chairman Ian Edwards added: “We’re really pleased to welcome Vicky to our board of directors.

“Vicky came to us highly recommended by Neil Lynch from Wales Rugby League and, having met her prior to her appointment, I was really impressed by her positivity and energy.

“Vicky brings a skill set different to what we currently have on the board and is our first ever female director.

“We look forward to working with her and hope she enjoys her new role with us and getting to know our supporters.”
