The capacity for North Wales Crusaders’ League 1 clash with Keighley Cougars at Stadiwm ZipWorld on Sunday has now been increased to 500 and away fans are able to purchase tickets online.
400 supporters were originally able to attend and this was limited to home fans, but the club have been working hard in the background with the local authorities to increase that number and provide an opportunity for Keighley supporters to visit Colwyn Bay.
Crusaders chief executive Andy Moulsdale said: “We’ve all been waiting to finally have fans watching us at our new home in Colwyn Bay.
“Following the guidance we received, we needed to limit attendance to home fans and we’re delighted with the response we’ve had from Crusaders fans new and old so far. Within the first day or so of tickets going on sale, we had less than 100 of the 400 allocation available.
“We’re aware some Keighley supporters had booked accommodation on the North Wales coast for this match so we’ve been working hard to try and make sure aways fans could also attend.
“This has now been agreed and we look forward to welcoming supporters of both clubs to Stadiwm ZipWorld.”
