North Wales Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray has named his 19-man squad for the final match of the 2019 season against London Skolars at Queensway Stadium on Saturday, September 7.

Jonny Walker, Alex Thompson and Stephen Wild, who are all retiring at the end of the season, are included in the 19, while Simon Atherton is taking some time away from rugby league and is set to feature in the last outing.

After playing every match of the campaign so far, Steve Roper misses out as he picked up an injury to his ribs in the defeat to Newcastle last weekend.

Elliott Jenkins is unavailable, while Joe Ryan comes back into the frame after sitting out last time around.

Crusaders’ 19-man squad: Karl Ashall, Simon Atherton, Brad Brennan, Dave Eccleston, Alex Eckley, Dec Gregory, Earl Hurst, Rob Massam, Dante Morley-Samuels, Jordan Penny, Matt Reid, Joe Ryan, Ryan Smith, Ben Stead, Alex Thompson, Warren Thompson, James Tilley, Jonny Walker, Stephen Wild.

With Crusaders’ clash against London, a Family Fun Day and a number of players hanging up their boots, don’t miss out on the action this Saturday.

Entry is £12 for adults, £10 for concessions and free for U16s.
