North Wales Crusaders take on Oldham at Queensway Stadium on Sunday, March 3 at 2.30pm in their opening home match of the League 1 season.

Below is all of the information you need to know about the clash.

THE FORMBOOK

Crusaders began their campaign last weekend with a 48-18 defeat at Workington Town.

The final scoreline wasn’t a true reflection of the match, though, as North Wales matched their hosts for large parts.

Oldham, meanwhile, lost their League 1 opener 32-28 to Workington.

After Oldham had led 28-20 heading into the final ten minutes, Town crossed for two late tries to nick the win.

However, they responded well as they beat Whitehaven comfortably 36-12 last time out.

Zak McComb’s hat-trick helped Oldham establish a 22-6 half-time lead and they saw the game out easily from there.

THE LAST TIME THEY MET

Oldham beat Crusaders 50-6 when the two sides met at the Vestacare Stadium last July.

From the first minute to the last, Oldham were the better side and led 24-6 by the break.

Danny Langtree, who has since moved to Super League club Hull FC, grabbed an impressive four tries on the day from the forwards.
